Clone Element

The Clone Element command copies the current element and links it to a new element. All of the contents of the original element appear in the new element.

When you make changes to the contents of the original element, all cloned elements are updated. However, you can change the exposure or layout of the contents independently of the cloned elements. Cloning elements allows you to re-use material in the same scene.

Use one of the following to activate this command:

Select Element > Clone Element.
Click the Contextual Menu button in the Timeline window and select Clone Element.
